I enjoyed reading it and love the conversations we have been having with it. We have so much emotion around money and it’s clear to me our money beliefs drive our own self worth, how we spend, invest and more. Thank you Jean Chatzky & Kathyn Tuggle and the Her Money Team!
While I found the book to be a very quick read, I also found it to be very general and not particularly groundbreaking. The information in this book is the same thing you can find on any finance blog with the exception of their personal interviews at the end of each chapter.
I found the definitions of finance terms like credit, debit, APR & deductible in the middle of the page to be distracting, but maybe a teen would be interested in that format.
Overall it wasn't bad, but I wouldn't read it again or recommend it to friends or family.
Got it for a family member. College student.
